MM512
The VME bus (V6M6 or V6M6HS), or Compact PCI Bus (C6M6) base board's
global DRAM can be expanded in 256MB or 512MB increments by adding either
MM256 or MM512 smPCI modules.

The number of these modules to populate a baseboard will depend on
the use of the board. With present power
estimates, six of these modules could be used on the 6U VME
V6M6 and
V6M6HS, and
6U compactPCI
C6M6 products for a total of 3000 MB.
This memory appears as if it were part of the baseboard's global memory and can be
accessed by all other
smPCITM
modules on the same
V6M6,
V6M6HS hotswap,
or
C6M6
base board that have PCI bus mastering capability.
All of our DSP and MIPS Processor smPCI modules have bus mastering capability.
