PC/104 with DSP32C

For embedded designs requiring signal processing, we offer the Lucent DSP32C with either 512k or 2M byte of SRAM on a PC-104 bus compliant board. The PC-104 is a broadly supported PC architecture ideal for space and power-sensitive embedded control applications requiring compatibility with PC based software. All of our msDOS drivers, demos and software development tools are compatible.

Host Interface
This PC/104 module operates as either an 8-bit or 16-bit I/O mapped device and is available with a full stack-through P2 connector or with a right-angle P2 header.

Serial Port
The DSP32C has a dual-buffered bi-directional serial port that is available on a 20-pin right angle header. A software programmable latch determines the signal directions.

Interrupts
Either the host or data into the DSP's serial port can interrupt the DSP. The DSP can interrupt the host using IRQ10, IRQ11, IRQ12 or IRQ15 (jumper selectable.)

Memory Expansion
Port A 100-pin high density connector provides access to the DSP's memory address and data lines for a user-designed mezzanine board to add either memory or a memory-mapped analog converter.

BAW1

This PC/104 full stackthrough module accepts any one of our analog daughter cards described on pages 38 and 39. Four right angle header pins are signal connectors for DBY1 and DBY2 boards. Signal connections are already built into the DBY3, DBY4 and DBY5 boards. A 20-pin right angle header mates to the DSP's serial port on the PC5-D0-S via a flat ribbon cable.

BAW2 compatible with B2 boards.
