Overview
Version 2.2.2 of the V6M6 software and FPGA and CPLD configurations includes the following changes:
New FPGA Configuration for DM4C6202 and DM4C6203 smPCI Modules
Bugs are fixed that solve problems that could occur when a DSP is reset while it is involved in a PCI bus transfer.
Changes to the Host API Library for DM4C6202 and DM4C6203 Modules
Changes to the Utility and Support Programs
The pciflashup program is fixed to properly determine the flash segments that must be restored when neighboring segments are replaced.
The pciserial program includes a minor change to some of its display messages.
Changes to Some Diagnostic Programs
The pcimemslice program is modified so that it attempts to shutdown more gracefully by requesting the various processor modules to stop their tests before halting their program execution.
Currently only the programs for the following processor types support this feature: the V6M6HS Cronus processor, MIPS processors on PM4600, PM4700, PM4700A, PM5000 and PM7000 modules, and the DSPs on DM4C6202 and DM4C6203 modules. The pcimemslice program will not attempt to shutdown the test on modules that do not support it. The graceful shutdown can be disabled for all processor types using the new -Z option.
Bugs are fixed in the DSP program for the TDM diagnostic on DM4C6202 and DM4C6202 modules. This allows the pcitdm program to be used with these modules in the pciburn program.
Bugs are fixed in the DSP program for the IM2E1 and IM2T1 module diagnostic on DM4C6202 and DM4C6203 modules.
The pciburn program now includes DM4C6202 and DM4C6203 modules in TDM test cycles.
A new -Z option is added to disable the new test shutdown feature of pcimemslice.
It is also modified for the new usage of the the -V option for pcichip.
