T1 / E1 CardBus with 200 MIPS DSP and Audio CODEC.

CAC today announced the Arrow2, a powerful solution for portable digital telecom applications. The Arrow2 offers a full duplex T1 or E1 interface and a high quality stereo audio CODEC. It uses a 200 MIPS Texas Instruments TMS320C5420 dual core fixed point DSP to deliver portable digital telecom applications such as T1/E1 line test, monitoring, or analysis of the transmitted data.

VME-64X Hot-Swap Communication Boards Boast 96 DSP's and up to 10,000 MIPS.

CAC today announced the most DSP dense hot swap boards available. The 6QH5420A and the 6QH5420E are CAC's latest addition to its QuicKit[tm] Telephony line of modular computer boards.

New VMEbus telephony board: 4 T1/E1 Interfaces, up to 4800 MIPS of DSP Power

The new board, dubbed QuicKit/T1, features 48 100-MIPS TMS320VC549 DSPs, enabling it to provide up to 50 MMACS (million multiply-accumulates per second) of processing power per T1 or E1 time slot.

Rapid Prototyping Kit Available for VMEbus Telephony Systems

The Telephony Quick-Kit comes with all the modules needed to design a high-performance multi-channel VMEbus telephony system. Included are RISC controllers, digital signal processors, T1/E1, and SCSA interfaces, an Ethernet interface, multi-channel audio input and output, an HDLC processor, and other memory and I/O options.

75-MFLOPS S-Bus Telephony Board

Equipped with two Lucent Technologies DSP32C digital signal processors, the board also provides four CD-quality audio input/out channels and up to one Mbyte of zero-wait-state SRAM. The SB32C's powerful signal processing capabilities, versatile WAN interfaces, and high-fidelity audio I/O capabilities make it ideal for a broad range of computer telephony applications, including speech compression and recognition, text-to-speech, and secure speech.

VMEbus Mezzanine Card Features Two IDT R3081s

The 6U3081 is designed for use with CAC's 150-MFLOPS, 75-MIPS VME6U6 VMEbus digital signal processing board. Based on six 50-MHz AT&T DSP32C floating point DSPs, the board features 512 kbytes of private zero-wait-state SRAM per DSP and a full master/slave VMEbus interface.
